The CAT 8.1 standard eliminates the crosstalk on the receiver side that an RJ45 plug generates due to its design. Therefore, a CAT 8-enabled RJ45 plug achieves a higher transmission speed than a CAT 5 or CAT 6 plug.
- Network connector for field assembly, suitable for round cables with solid conductors (AWG 22/1 - 26/1) and stranded conductors (AWG 22/7 - 26/7)
- For quick, tool-free assembly on network cables by simply pressing the connector housing together
- The CAT 8.1 connector supports Power over Ethernet (PoE++, 4PPoE, Ultra PoE) according to IEEE802.3bt as well as 25GBase-T and 40GBase-T (downward compatible).
- For a transmission distance of 24 m as a permanent link or 30 m as a channel link (8.1 Standard Class I with an operating frequency of up to 2 GHz)
- The RJ45 connector is suitable for terminating a CAT 8.1 installation cable to create a custom-sized network cable.
- 3 μin gold-plated contacts and the STP screen ensure durability and a perfect signal transmission.
- The RJ45 connector is TIA 568A/B colour-coded
